Events and Attractions

Let Quechee Pine Valley KOA Campground be your vacation base in the Green Mountain state. With its many attractions, quaint shops and unique restaurants, Vermont offers something for everyone.

We are located only minutes from Vermont's premier natural attraction, Quechee Gorge. Called "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon", this 165 ft deep gorge is a mile long with the Ottaqueechee River at its base. You can view the gorge from the Route 4 Highway bridge or hike to the bottom for a closer view of the river waterfalls.

In June, Quechee town green plays host to the Quechee Hot Air Balloon, Fine Art, Craft and Music Festival. Get up early to see the multicolored hot air balloons drifting slowly over the gorge...a photographers dream.

In August, ceud mille failte! Local clans converge at the Quechee polo field for the Quechee Scottish Festival. This gathering features highland games, sheep dog trials, bagpipes, haggis and the calling of the clans. In a word...fun!

In September, candy apples and motorcyles take center stage.  The Vermont State Fair and the Killington Classic Motorcycle Touring Rally are family-centered events you won't want to miss.

In late September  through mid-October, it's leaf peeping! Come see  Mother Nature's most spectacular season in Vermont....fall foliage.
