Camp Rules

The rules and regulations at Quechee Pine Valley KOA Campground are designed to give campers a safe, clean and pleasant experience. Please read them carefully.

 

Campsite

  • Check-out time: 12PM
  • Check-out after 12PM can be arranged based on availability. A $3.00 per hour fee will assessed if site is occupied after check-out time
  • Specific site requests cannot be guaranteed. We do honor special requests, whenever possible
  • Regular base site fee covers two(2) adults and two (2) children under age 18
  • No cash or credit card refunds on paid campsites. Credit for future stay will be issued
  • Parking limited to one (1) recreational vehicle and one (1) tow vehicle per site. All other vehicles (including guests) must park at office or overflow parking area. Further parking instructions may be given by staff
  • No parking on the grass
  • No large outdoor mats on grass. Mats may be placed on gravel only
  • Do not cut through occupied campsites
  • No clothes lines are permitted on campsites
  • No washing of recreational vehicles or tow vehicles on campsite permitted
  • Dump at dump stations ONLY. No dumping of grey water on ground
  • No holes or trenches may be dug on campsites
  • Please leave campsites neat and clean when departing

 

Vehicles

  • Maximum speed limit: 5 MPH, strictly enforced
  • Motorcycles: may be used to exit and enter the campground only

 

Quiet Hours/General

  • Quiet hours: 10PM to 8AM daily
  • During this time: voices, other noise and activities must be kept at a minimum
  • Alcohol consumption is limited to your campsite. Please drink responsibly, 
  • No smoking allowed in buildings, pool or playground areas
  • No fireworks or firearms are permitted

 

Pets

  • Quechee Pine Valley KOA is a "pet friendly" campground. Please be responsible
  • Quiet pets on leashes are permitted
  • Pet must be attended (not left alone) at all times
  • Pets must be under control at all times
  • Designated dogwalks are located on both levels: across from pond on lower level and beyond site 71 on upper level
  • Picking up your dog's waste is mandatory, bags are available at the office
  • Pets are not permitted in the following areas: playground, pool, mulched and flowering shrub areas and buildings
  • The following dog breeds are not allowed: Doberman, Rottweiler and Pit Bull. 

 

Visitors

  • Visiting hours: 9AM to 9PM
  • All visitors must check in at office upon arrival
  • No visitors admitted after 8PM (office closing time)
  • Special guest/car passes are issued and must be displayed while in campground
  • Campers are responsible for their guests at all times
  • Visitor admission fees: Adult $5.00/Child $3.00
  • Fee refund: if visit is less than thirty minutes and campground facilities are not used (pool, canoes, paddle boat, bathhouse, playground, etc.), visitor fee will be refunded
  • Management reserves the right to limit visitors

 

Bath House

  • Everyone is responsible for keeping bathrooms clean
  • Children under ten MUST be accompanied by an adult
  • Do NOT wash dishes in bathroom sinks
  • No loitering or playing in bathhouse area

 

Swimming Pool

  • Season: Memorial Day to Labor Day
  • Open daily: 10AM to 7PM
  • No lifeguard on duty
  • Children 14 and under MUST be accompanied by adult
  • Safety rules posted at pool
  • No loitering or playing in pool area

 

Laundry Facilities

  • Change and supplies are available at the General Store
  • Do not overload machines

 

Recreational Equipment

  • Canoe and paddle boat rentals available
  • Cushions and lifevests available at no charge
  • Children MUST have adult supervision
  • Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, etc. must be used responsibly and on roadways only
  • No bicycling, skating or skateboarding permitted after dusk

 

Firewood

  • Firewood bundles available for charge at General Store
  • Do NOT cut wood from campground area

 

Trash

  • Curbside pick-up daily: 10AM
  • Limited to one bag per campsite, no boxes
  • Recyclable materials may be separated into second bag for pick-up

 

Quechee Pine Valley KOA Campground does NOT tolerate:

  • Loud noise(s)
  • Fighting
  • Abusive language
  • Drunkenness
  • Disturbing other campers
  • Unsafe fires
  • Speeding
